Traffic no problem as Gates tensioner arrives by FPS drone.

A Gates DriveAlign tensioner sent by drone to Sheffield based Group Auto member Brakeline Motor Factors (13 March 2015) is believed to be the first commercial delivery of its kind.

The experiment, which is the subject of a 4-minute video produced by parts distributor FPS and available to view online (http://bit.ly/1GLRPLy) demonstrates how such a system might work in the future.

Gates regional manager Taco Homan said:
