Lucas Oil Team Geriatric impressed with the debut of the 2016 car, recording two fastest laps in a combined Super National class field at Croft, last weekend.

Heat one – the first race start in the car and first using a sequential gearbox – saw driver Tony Lynch, from Westhoughton in Lancashire, post the fastest single lap.

In heat three, he was once again the quickest Super National class driver over a single lap.

Mechanical issues, following a collision, meant that the car could not advance to the final but the prospects look good for the next round at Lynden Hill later this month.
