Great starts from the Lucas Oil teams
Great starts from the Lucas Oil teams, followed by great finishes led to impressive performances in a range of September motor racing events. Great finishes from the drivers from the British Drift Car (BDC) Championship, Formula 2 and Formula 4 competitions raised many smiles for their sponsor, Lucas Oil.
These smiles were as bright as a Lucas Oil Slick Mist polish shine.
The series of good results justify the commitment to motorsport by the oil, additives and workshop lubricants brand.
Defending BDC Champion Ollie Evans is flying the flag for Lucas Oil, for the first time. Lucas Oil is the exclusive oil and additives sponsor for the 2020 BDC season. After a strong opening round in early August, Evans is lying a close second with three rounds completed. His car relies on Lucas SAE 20w50 Racing Oil for its engine protection. Lucas 75w90 oil in the gearbox protects against gear failure, heat and shock whilst running at high rpm.
British driver Dan Ticktum is proving to be one of the drivers to beat in F2 this season. A series of Podium finishes is keeping him and the Lucas Oil-sponsored DAMS Team in touch with the
defence of their Team Championship title. DAMS is using a range of Lucas Oil products including L11 Racing gear Oil, Brake Cleaner, Lucas Slick Mist Polish, Interior Detailer, Lucas Metal Polish, as well as Tire & Trim Shine.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old American junior Jak Crawford has been very busy collecting podium finishes in the German and the Italian F4 racing series. It’s his first season behind the wheel of the #52 Red Bull Van Amersfoort Racing Team car. Crawford has really taken to racing around some of the most famous racing circuits in Europe.
