Laser Lock in Vision

Tri-Sphere was among the suppliers invited to attend a one-day exhibition and conference for members of the Vision Network, at Donington Park.

Director Jim Masterson says the ability of the Laser Lock 3D Measuring System to give point to point and live measuring, with post and pre-accident printouts with or without mechanical parts in position, drew considerable interest from Vizion Network members.

The Vizion Network includes more than 600 body repair workshops from all over the UK.

Although Tri-Sphere is best known as a chassis straightening and body alignment equipment specialist in general and as the Globaljig Systems supplier in particular, the Stafford-based company took the opportunity to demonstrate the versatility of its product range by featuring some of its latest Welding Systems.

The ElmaSpot Vision is a fully automatic resistance Welding System that was appearing on a Tri-Sphere stand at a show for the first time anywhere in the UK.

“No more adjustments, just weld,” says Tri-Sphere.

The system uses a C-transformer gun for increased performance and to reduce EMF. It also features a fully integrated water-cooling system and Spot QS that tracks each individual weld for compliance.
