Smooth Air Suspension Moves

Fleet operators look set to benefit from OE manufactured air suspension technology at competitive prices thanks to an initiative from Corteco.

With effect from 1 June, price reductions on hydraulic accumulators for certain Mercedes-Benz light van applications will give independent garages and workshops access to air suspension references that were designed for OE by the supplier’s sister company, Trelleborg Vibracoustic.

Part of the Freudenberg Group, Trelleborg Vibracoustic is a leading designer of vibration control products for OE automotive applications and is one of the word’s major manufacturers of rubber-to-metal parts.

As the aftermarket distribution arm of Freudenberg, Corteco has access to vibration control components and repair kits in OE quality for more than 27,500 different types of vehicles. All products are designed to meet the highest quality standards and are manufactured using the latest production methods, says the company.

Corteco’s air suspension accumulators (part numbers 80001151,80001152) cover a total of 32 applications. These include vehicles such as the Vito Box, Vito bus, V-Class, Viano, and Mixto Box.
