Welding kit for plastic fittings

The Stafford-based bodyshop equipment supplier has added a plastic welding kit to its expanding range of equipment for vehicle repair specialists.

New from Tri-Sphere is the Ultrasonic Welding Kit. It is a versatile lightweight welding system designed to manage a range of delicate plastic welding processes in a variety of different repair situations around the vehicle.

Ultrasound technology is harnessed to weld different types of plastics together. Adhesives or additives are not required.

The UltraSonic Kit’s gun weighs only 0.8 kg. Equipped with an ergonomic grip, the gun has a range of configurations to cope with tight spaces and difficult angles around the bodywork. The UltraSonic Welding Kit provides panel beaters with a reliable way to weld plastics to match the quality of finish required by the toughest vehicle manufacturer specifications.
